Once the installation is done, then run the command below to install the extension pack you just downloaded. sudo VBoxManage extpack uninstall "Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack" To install the extension pack using vboxmanage command, you first need to uninstall the old version if any is installed.
VirtualBox extension pack can be installed directly from VirtualBox main window or from the terminal by using the VBoxManage command.
